Rental Registration

Per Town bylaw passed in 2023, all property rentals (not including hotels, motels, and inns) in the Town of Orleans are required to be registered with the Town before they can be rented. Registration is quick and does not require payment or inspection. 

Registration can be done either online, through the Town's permit portal, or by filling out a form and submitting it to the Assessing Department in Town Hall.
