Pleasant Bay Estuary in the Town of Orleans will reopen to shellfishing with the exception of soft-shell clams and carnivorous snails as of sunrise June 2. The website will not be updated until the beginning of next week. Please refer to the Town of Orleans Shellfish Regulations for seasonal open/closed areas in Pleasant Bay. Nauset Estuary will hopefully open in another week not foreseeing any other concerning algal blooms. Stay tuned.
