Final paving and road restoration work in East Orleans is scheduled to begin this week.
Motorists and residents should expect delays, with intermittent full road closures anticipated at times.
Detour signage will be clearly posted, and onsite details/crews will be available to assist with safe navigation for both vehicles and pedestrians.
Residents are encouraged to park vehicles outside of designated work areas prior to 7 AM, as extended road closures may occur. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles only.
We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation as this important work progresses.
The anticipated daily paving schedule from 7AM - 5 PM:
- Wednesday, May 7: River Road, Packet Landing, and Linden Lane
- Thursday, May 8: Karen Way, Deerwood Lane, Loomis Lane, and Manito Way
- Friday, May 9: Great Oak Road, Oak Lane, and Pine Ridge Lane
- Monday, May 12: High Tide Lane and Cedar Way
Please note that paving on Main Street remains on schedule for mid-June. Additional details will be provided in the coming weeks.
