Starting in September 2022, Officer Riley McDonough will be the School Resource Officer assigned to the Nauset Regional Middle School. Officer McDonough grew up in Marshfield and graduated from Marshfield High School in 2011. She continued her education at High Point University in North Carolina where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, with minors in psychology and sociology. After graduating college, Officer McDonough worked as a Victim Witness Advocate for two years in the Plymouth County District Attorney's office and later became an emergency medical technician with Brewster Ambulance. Officer McDonough has been a member of the Orleans Police Department since 2019. In addition to her duties as SRO, Officer McDonough is in charge of the Project Lifesaver Program at Orleans Police Department.
