ORLEANS CULTURAL COUNCIL SEEKS FUNDING PROPOSALS
The Orleans Cultural Council is seeking grant proposals for community-oriented arts, humanities, and science programs. Applications are due October 15, 2022. The Orleans Cultural Council encourages organizations, schools, and individuals to apply for grants that support cultural activities, events, and varied programs in the community.
In the past year, the Orleans Cultural Council has funded diverse programs, including free, online public concerts; funding for educational activities; support for summer reading programs; and puppet shows for preschoolers.
The Orleans Cultural Council is part of a network of 329 Local Cultural Councils (LCCs) serving all 351 cities and towns in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This LCC program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation, supporting thousands of community-based projects in the arts, sciences, and humanities.
